THE WORD FROM TIM

“The qualifying result was similar to yesterday, the times were quicker again and we ended the session in 12th which put us back a row behind where we were yesterday to start. The race was less drama-filled than yesterday but it still had drivers and teams being cautious on track and looking after their tyres.”

“We decided to pit later in the race and try catch the guys with the older rubber, but it didn’t quite work out today. The car had good speed, but it wasn’t enough to catch the guys we needed and others that we expected to pit, didn’t.”

“The good news for the team is everything is going back to the workshop in one piece, so even with the tight turnaround to Perth, the guys will be back to some normal working hours in the shop!”
