In our final word for 2018, we’d like to thank our valued partners and fans for all their support across the 2018 season, and importantly our team members for their hard work, both on track and behind the scenes at the workshop.

We also take this chance to wish you, your families and friends a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year. If you are travelling across this busy time, please stay safe and patient on the roads and be sure to give your cars the appropriate safety checks before hitting the road!

From all the team members at BJR, thankyou again for your support.

THE WORD FROM KIM:

“We couldn’t have done it without the support of our fans, our team members and importantly our fantastic corporate partners. No matter how big or small, they all play a vital role in keeping us on the track. We look forward to working with our valued partners in 2019 and beyond.”

“When we return in 2019, we will embark on our 20th season in Supercars. It’s an incredible achievement to have made it this far and to competitively contest in the top tiers of Australian motorsport with entries in Supercars and the supporting Super2 & Super3 categories. We will continue to nuture and develop young talent, both behind the wheel and in the crew.”

THE WORD FROM BRAD:

“2018 saw an uplift of results at BJR. Nick Percat was the biggest championship mover in 2018, up 9 spots from the previous year’s result. He and Tim Slade finished in 10th and 11th in the championship respectively, putting us in 6th overall in the teams’ championship. Between the two drivers, they shared 28 top ten finishes this year, which included a couple of podium finishes for Nick.”

“A highlight for the team was achieving our 250th Supercar round start, marking 19 years competing in the top level of Australian motorsport. Knowing we are still one of the true family owned and operated teams is something we can be proud of, and we’re one of 4 teams in history to reach this mega milestone.”

“Even though the end to our 2018 season wasn’t as strong as we hoped, we showed plenty of strength and speed throughout the year. We will continue our momentum into the new year and aim to go better again. We have had tremendous support from our valued partners throughout the year, and we look forward to continuing these relationships into 2019.”
