This weekend marks the 600th race start for the Brad Jones Racing team, a milestone that has been in the works since the team made their debut at Phillip Island in 2000.


Slade will be in Alliance Truck Parts colours this weekend, however underneath the yellow and black livery, there has been a change in chassis. Tim will be driving BJR-006. Full story on the Freightliner Racing website now.

- The Freightliner Racing Supercar has claimed a podium finish at Townsville. Fabian Coulthard was behind the wheel when he scored a trio of podiums here for BJR/Freightliner Racing in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

- There have been zero races in Townsville where all cars have finished the race. This weekend marks the 22nd and 23rd races to be held at the Reid Park circuit.

- Twelve different drivers have claimed the 21 available pole positions in Townsville from 2009 through to 2018.

- The pole sitting car has finished on the podium in the last six Townsville races in a row.
