Slade started in tenth and an unfortunate excursion off the track relegated him back to 16th. The team reacted quickly calling him in to pit. With fresh tyres and some fuel, Tim focused on making up lost ground. After 41 laps Tim worked his way back to 12th.

 

Eyes forward onto the next round at the ITM Auckland SuperSprint were Tim is hoping to begin the weekend on a positive note and move forward closer towards the podium steps.

“We had a decent race car but unfortunately I made a mistake and resulted in going off track, costing me over 15 seconds. Which meant I then needed to attack to make up lost time. It was a frustrating end to a better weekend, we had a good qualifying and race car.”
